Delta Consolidated discovered that consumers bought pickup truck boxes mostly to enhance the appearance of their trucks. Delta wanted a box designed to complement the styling of contemporary pickup trucks.

By giving the top of the box a slight arc, we both accentuated the curvaceous styling of contemporary trucks and provided a sense of strength inherent in the form of an arched bridge. By using generous radii on the edges of the form, we gave the box a sleek appearance.

Delta's new structural foam truck box has raised the bar. The product rollout has been enthusiastically received by mass merchandisers nationwide.
